These weekly classes are for beginning to intermediate kids aged 8+.

*ROOM FOR 5 MORE* Intro to Piano: Thursdays 4:30-5:25 - an 8-wk game-based crash course in piano fundamentals
*ROOM FOR 1 MORE* Pop Piano: Thursdays 3:30-4:25 - an 8-wk piano course for students with piano experience, targeting lead sheets and popular repertoire

Each week, students will be led through a routine of warming-up, group instruction, and independent group practicing and
playing. Focus points will be building finger strength and dexterity, learning C position in both right and left hand, recognizing and reading rhythmic notation, note naming, and establishing a foundation in effective practicing. Students will be given a choice of pop songs based on their level, and will spend time in class and at home breaking the piece(s) down and learning the parts.

Please note: These summer classes will touch on many concepts without going into great depth; our primary goal is piano exposure and learning fun songs. If interested in a more rigorous piano program, consider enrolling your child in private lessons or in our school-year group piano classes (Late August- end of May).

PRICE ALERT! Why is this class less money than others? Because it's an ADD-ON class, meaning it is only open to students currently enrolled in PRIVATE LESSONS. In an effort to keep music affordable, Little Dell prices ADD-ON classes at a discounted 'membership price'.

This weekly class is for currently enrolled private students who are still new to music and not yet ready for our Little Dell Rock Band performance group. Students will learn simple songs as an ensemble. The goals of this class are: understanding how one part contributes to the whole of a song; guided listening and music analysis; charting music; reading a chart, sheet music, and/or tablature; listening to and playing with peers; developing a home practice routine.

Students should come open to trying instruments other than their main instruments.

Rising Voices is designed to cultivate young talent through the exploration of fundamental vocal techniques and musicianship, with a strong emphasis on performance and repertoire development.

In addition to group exercises and musicianship activities, students will workshop a song through 3-5 class performances each week (performances optional but encouraged!).

Participants will receive constructive and positive feedback from both the instructor and their peers, fostering a supportive learning environment.

SUMMER TUITION INCLUDES 1 FREE CLASS

This weekly class is great for 8+ year olds beginning guitarists. 

Each week, students will be led through a routine of tuning their guitars, warming-up, group instruction, and independent group practicing and
playing. Focus points will be building finger strength and dexterity, learning 2-3 basic strumming patterns, learning 2-3 chords and a variety of simple songs using only 2-3 chords, following chord charts and sheet music, and singing while playing.
