About Little Dell Rock Band

At Little Dell Music Studio, we believe that music is meant to be shared with others.

Spring Theme: Music of the 60s

Who is this class for?
• Little Dell Rock Band is not designed for total beginners; we require that a student has "graduated" from Band Basics or gotten their teacher approval to bypass this requirement. Students will be responsible for learning their assigned parts (with the help of their private teacher!) and should have a consistent practice routine established. 

How does it work?
• Your student will attend weekly 90 minutes rehearsals lead by two professional musicians and music educators. • Your child will be assigned a part to play within the ensemble, to learn with their private teacher and practice with the group. Song selection and subsequent "casting" will be based on student abilities.

Will there be a performance?
• Yes, the performance is key! The show will be Sunday, May 31st at 3pm at Potter Jr High!

Register for class by filling out the form linked in the button.
Important: all students MUST be taking private lessons on their main instrument, and have the approval of their private teacher.

Students taking lessons somewhere other than Little Dell need teacher approval and will be required to audition.

Watch for Welcome Email

Once registered, be on the look out for a welcome email from me! You must have your enrollment confirmed by Little Dell in the unusual event that our listed openings are not accurate. 

Pay Material Fee and Complete Paperwork

Your welcome email will include details on how to pay your material fee and fill out your digital paperwork.

Registration Policy
By registering for group classes at Little Dell Music Studio, you agree to this policy:

  • To hold a spot for your child(ren) in class, the registration form must be filled out and your registration fee must be paid.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Registration is for the session. Students are expected to complete the full four months of the class.
  • If you choose to withdraw mid-session, you are financially responsible for paying the remaining tuition.
  • Credits and/or make up classes will not be provided for missed rehearsals.
  • Enrollment in all classes and lessons at Little Dell Music Studio grants Little Dell Music Studio permission to use a students likeness on social media for marketing purposes. Names will never be shared.

FAQ

The material fee covers the cost of licensing for legally acquired sheet music / score. 

The program is for ages 10-18

At Little Dell, we expect our students to practice around 5x/week. Students should expect to work on their assigned material with their private teachers, in addition to their regular lesson workload. Students WILL be getting assistance from the band directors during rehearsals, as well.

Rehearsals are taught weekly for 90 minutes, for a rotating 4 month semester (Fall - Sept-Dec (usually with a late Aug start), Spring- Feb-May (usually with a late Jan start)

The band group is expected to range in size from 12-18 students.

Nope! Beginner's should start out in Band Basics, our beginning band program geared towards prepping kids for a more intermediate performance group.
